Ten Reasons Why I Use Linux, and Ten Reasons Why You Shouldn't


If you follow me on Twitter or LinkedIn, or run into me in any of my hangouts, you’ll know that I’m a proud user of Linux and have been for many years. And you probably also know that I also use a number of other open source packages. But do you know why?

And just so you don’t think I’m going to try and convince you to give up your MacOS X, Windows, Solaris, Atari or whatever, I’m going to validate you by giving you reasons not to switch. After all, Microsoft, Apple and Sun need to earn a living too. Well … so do FreeBSD and NetBSD, but that’s a whole different ballgame. :)
