Sir Gawain and The Green Web

Network effects and the mythopoetics of self, huh? Sounds like another sure-to-be-rejected concept! Maybe I’ll couch it in terms of an old narrative from Arthurian literature, casting the “self” in the role of Sir Gawain, whose bargain with the Green Knight inevitably risks his own demise. That could have legs, maybe also articulate the positioning of self within a networked narrative that guides and defines the development of thought around this whole social media thing? And what if the Green Knight was actually Louis Gray?! What a twist!
